1. Peter Muir Performs at the Scarsdale Woman’s Club: Dr. Peter Muir, international pianist and recording artist, will explore "Pioneers of Ragtime," which gave helped usher in blues and jazz, with a lecture piano/vocal recital. Free, 2 p.m. The Scarsdale Woman's Club, 37 Drake Road, Scarsdale.


2. SUPERferendji - African Classics of the Post-Colonial Era: Presented by The Sarah Lawrence Music Department. Directed by Andy Algire and Jonathan King. Free, 7 p.m. The Marshall Field Room 1, Sarah Lawrence College, 1 Mead Way, Bronxville.
