Join us for a rain barrel workshop on Friday, May 18 from 10-11:30am. Rain barrels encourage water conservation and help reduce stormwater pollution! Coca-Cola has donated 100 syrup drums for reuse as rain barrels to the Greenburgh Nature Center and Groundwork Hudson Valley/Saw Mill River Coalition as part of this community rain barrel workshop. There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
