EDUCATION REFORM: What You Really Need to Know
The Scarsdale Middle School PTA is presenting a panel discussion to inform our community on the recent changes to public education in New York State.
The panel is being held on Thursday, May 10 at 7:15 p.m. at the l Auditorium.
Topics will include: Race to the Top, Standardized Testing and APPR, what is it?
What can parents learn after April’s state-mandated standardized tests? What is the plan for next year?
Our panel will be moderated by Michael McDermott, Principal Scarsdale Middle School and Vice President of the Empire State Supervisors & Administrators Association as well as a leading member of the Regents Task Force on Teacher and Principal Evaluation
