Ballet des Amériques announces

Press Release: Ballet des Amériques announces first daytime Conservatory Ballet Program in Westchester County, New York


Ballet des Amériques is pleased to announce three programs for the serious dance student and an open class program for adults:

Conservatory Program
Daytime schedule for home and cyber schoolers

Pre-Professional Program
Afternoon and evening schedule

Post-Graduate Program
Daytime schedule for students age 18 and up who have completed high school and are beginning professional careers in dance

Open Class Adult Program
Classes for adults of all levels from beginners to dancers who wish to build on prior experience

The newly announced Conservatory Program, Post-Graduate Program and Open Class Adult Program are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. The ongoing Pre-Professional Program at Ballet des Amériques will start its fourth year at the same time, after the usual summer break. Under the direction of Carole Alexis, Ballet des Amériques School & Company combines ballet training, dance education and performance. Students of the School receive intensive training in classical ballet, in modern and in contemporary dance as well as a well-rounded dance education (with classes in music, dance history, anatomy) in a comprehensive and integrated curriculum-based pre-professional program. The professional dancers of the Company of Ballet des Amériques perform original choreographies throughout the greater New York City area and increasingly throughout the world.
