BEST COSTUME PARTY IN WESTCHESTER, THE CHILDREN’S VILLAGE MASQUERADE GALA, RAISES $70,000 FOR AT-RISK WESTCHESTER TEENS

Yonkers, NY - On October 26, 2013, at the Historic Roosevelt Ballroom at Phillipsburg Manor, The Children's Village held its eighthMasquerade Gala to benefit shelter, street outreach, and supportive housing programs. Since the food, music, entertainment, alcohol, and prizes are all donated and the event is staffed by volunteers almost all the $70,000 raised goes directly to helping runaway and homeless teens.  Guests clad in creative costumes enjoyed food prepared and donated by Silvio’s Restaurant in Yonkers, won big-screen TVs, theatre tickets, and trips in the event’s unique Balloon Pop, and danced to the music of the MasterCard Transactions and DJ Curtis Winchester. TheMasquerade Gala was sponosred by Mt. Carmel Pharmacy and Silvio’s Restaurant.
