League of Women Voters Announces Resignation of Vice President

As a result of her candidacy for Village Trustee, Deb Pekarek resigned as an officer and director of the League effective immediately.  Deb served as First Vice President and a director of the League of Women Voters of Scarsdale prior to being selected by the Citizens Nominating Committee to be a candidate for the Village Board.  The League board congratulates Deb on her nomination and wishes Deb well.  She will be sorely missed.
