5 Things: Salsa, Belly Dancing, and Tranquility Now

It's never too early to get a jump on the weekend.

It may only be Tuesday, but it’s never too early to plan for the weekend.

1. Have you made a reservation for Hudson Valley Restaurant Week yet? Through March 27, 160 Hudson Valley restaurants are offering $20 lunch and $28 dinner prix fixe deals (tax, beverage and tip not included). All you have to do is go to the Restaurant Week website, choose a restaurant and make a reservation. Diagnosis: de-licious!

2. So maybe Thursday isn’t “officially” the weekend, but in my book, it’s close enough. Formerly Rustico Ristorante, ZaZa opened in August 2010. ZaZa serves Italian food with a modern touch, and USA Today voted its Neapolitan pizza Best Pizza in New York State. Sounds pretty good, right? On Thursday night, ZaZa turns it up a notch with the seven-piece , for a night of dancing, drinking and food from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. There’s a $10 cover charge and reservations are recommended. ZaZa is located at 753 Central Park Ave. in Scarsdale. Call 914- 472 4005 or visit the ZaZa website for more information.

3. On Friday, New Rochelle is the place be for . Rangoli Indian Cuisine, at 615 Main St., New Rochelle, features a 30-plus item buffet, a henna tattoo artist, and Rangoli's in-house DJ (DJ KP) spinning Bollywood tunes, accompanied by multiple bellydancers. From 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., costs $30 per person.

4. Of course, the kids need something to do too, and on Saturday at 2 p.m., the Scarsdale Public Library will show “Megamind,” an animated comedy the whole family will enjoy, starring Will Ferrell, Brad Pitt and Tina Fey.

5. With all this weekend fun, you’re bound to be exhausted once Sunday rolls around. Take a time out at one of Westchester’s favorite places to unwind— at 917 Central Park Ave. Then you’ll be ready for Monday, to do it all again.
