Celebrating Irish Heritage In Hartsdale Sunday

A day-long salute to the traditions of Ireland will take place during the Irish Heritage Day Celebration on Sunday, July 15, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Ridge Road Park in Hartsdale.

The day’s entertainment includes the Cray and Dempsey Band, the Guss Hayes Band, Padraig Allen and the McLean Avenue Band, The Pipes and Drums of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester and the O’Rourke Irish Dancers.

There will be many vendors on site where festival-goers can purchase traditional food and shop for arts and crafts. Activities for children include games, face painting by Noelle Clancy, and Westchester County’s own Be Fit-Mobile.

Admission is $5 per adult. Children under 14 are admitted free. Parking is free. Seating is informal so bring blankets or chairs for seating on the lawn. The festival will be held rain or shine. No coolers will be allowed.
