Afya Foundation Sortathon

The Afya Foundation, a medical supply recovery organization based in Yonkers, is inviting individuals, students, teams, groups, clubs, co-workers and community groups to join us on November 12th, 2011. Between 8am and midnight, participants will sort and pack medical supplies which will be sent to Haiti or Africa in the next few months. You will also learn how each and every person has the capacity to positively impact global health -- and help the countless people who count on us to help. Upon registration, you'll be asked to make a tax-deductible donation of $25 which will be used to help pay the costs incurred when we ship the supplies which you'll be sorting.
