UPDATED: Blizzard Warning For Scarsdale

There is now a blizzard warning for the area. The National Weather Service has increased snow totals for Scarsdale.

The Blizzard Warning now includes Scarsdale. The National Weather Service is predicting three to seven inches of snow today; another six to ten inches tonight; and less than one inch of snow Saturday. Wind gusts could reach up to 39 MPH. The daytime temp will reach 36 degrees and the nighttime low will be about 22 degrees, according to the NWS.

The National Weather Service issued a Blizzard Warning that now includes Scarsdale. Expect snow after 7:00 a.m. Friday with three to five inches possible. Friday night, expect another eight to 12 inches and an additional one to three inches before 10:00 a.m. Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

The new snow totals for Friday afternoon and evening are six to 10 inches of snowfall for Scarsdale, according to the National Weather Service. Scarsdale now falls under a Winter Storm Watch.

Get ready for that on Friday, Scarsdale.

Although weather forecasts are predicting blizzard-like conditions for parts of the Tri-State and New England as of Wednesday, the snow totals are still low for Scarsdale and parts of Southern Westchester.

On Friday, expect some early morning snow amounting to less than an inch. Friday afternoon, the National Weather Service is forecasting snow after 12:00 p.m., with new totals reaching less than one inch. And the Friday night snowfall will add up to about half an inch, according to the NWS.

Prep for temps to reach about 41 degrees in Scarsdale Friday and a low of 25, according to the NWS.
