In celebration of its 75th anniversary, Scarsdale Adult School has scheduled a special event with New York Times best-selling author George Saunders, in conversation with his editor Andy Ward.
The event is slated for Tuesday, April 9 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Scarsdale High School. Tickets are $25 each and advance registration is highly recommended as there is no guaranteed admission for walk-ins. Register now at www.ScarsdaleAdultSchool.org to secure your spot.
Unsettling, insightful, and hilarious, Saunders tackles subjects of class, sex, love, loss, work, despair and war, delving into questions of morality and exploring what makes us human.
According to author Zadie Smith, "[n]ot since Twain has America produced a satirist this funny."
Joel Lovell, deputy editor of the New York Times Magazine, called Tenth of December—Saunder's newest book—"the best book you'll read this year."
