Get Out: A Patch Weekend Guide for April 13-15

A few happenings to help you enjoy your weekend around Scarsdale, Eastchester and Bronxville for April 13-15, 2012.

Get a jump start on celebrating the weekend and enjoying your time away from work and school. Here are a few local events to help you and your family have some fun. TGIF!

1. ! is coming to the Westchester County Center this weekend. Disney's Phineas and Ferb Live will bring the antics of this popular kids' show to the stage. The show times are:

  • Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 p.m.
  • Saturday 12 pm. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Sunday 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

2. .  Professor Jackson will be focusing on the devastating economic condition of the city back in the 1970’s (you remember the famous headline “Ford to City: Drop Dead") and how Gotham managed to rebound and thrive in future decades, unlike our friends in Detroit and other Midwestern cities.  A timely topic, no doubt. 3. Teens in need of some Friday night fun can head over to the Scarsdale Teen Center for Enjoy a fun night of casino games and win a little "play money" and prizes. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $10 per teen.

4. Movie fans can enjoy a long, lazy Saturday at the movie theater for free. Film fans can check out Catch the flicks for free on Saturday, April 14 starting at 10:00 a.m.

5. On Sunday, enjoy the performance at the Westchester Reform Temple in Scarsdale. The show starts at 4:00 p.m. This free show is family-friendly and open to all.
