Get Out: A Patch Weekend Guide for May 4-6

A few happenings to help you enjoy your weekend around Scarsdale, Eastchester and Bronxville for May 4-6, 2012.

Get a jump start on celebrating the weekend and enjoying your time away from work and school. Here are a few local events to help you and your family have some fun. TGIF!

1. Special Education Parent Teacher Association Fundraiser: Head on out to Mickey Spillanes in Eastchester on Friday for a fun-filled evening that will benefit Eastchester SEPTA. There are a long list of raffle prizes from many local merchants such as , , and many more. Tickets are $50 at the door and the festivities begin at 7 p.m.

2. On Friday night, the Sal Casabianca. The Bronxville native is a guitarist, singer and songwriter. Be sure to make reservations by contacting the club. Admission is $5 and includes coffee, tea, and munchies. The show begins at 8:00 p.m.

3. Go Green this Saturday and celebrate Sustainable Scarsdale Day. The annual event is being held at the from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Electric cars, garden exhibits, vendors, food and a free concert are all part of the day.

4. Enjoy the in Scarsdale on Friday night. The evening begins at 7:00 p.m. and features over 500 prizes, including gift baskets, cash, jewelery and more. Tickets are $20.

5. Art lovers, be sure to check out the two exhibits this weekend in Scarsdale. The Scarsdale Library is hosting all weekend and Madelyn Jordon Fine Art is hosting on Friday.

6. And one extra event for the weekend. Don't forget, Saturday to benefit the Scarsdale Teen Center. The show kicks off at 7:30 p.m. at Vintage in White Plains.
