Get Out: A Scarsdale Patch Weekend Guide For September 7-9

Find something fun to do around Scarsdale this weekend.

Get a jump start on celebrating the weekend and enjoying your time away from work and school. Here are a few local events to help you and your family have some fun. TGIF!

1. Book lovers take note. The is taking place this weekend. Pick up your favorite reads and support the Scarsdale Public Library. Shop Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

2. In need of a good laugh? Head to White Plains tonight for Tickets are $20 at the door.

3. Seems like folks are ready to say farewell to summer and usher in fall. Why not start out with some apple picking this weekend? Try from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

4. On Saturday head over to the Westchester Reform Temple to The new clergy are hosting a "TED-style" forum.

5. Carve some time out on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. to participate in The all day event includes Locks of Love, children's activities, teen service projects, a blood drive and more–all in honor of 9/11 victims.
