Get Out: Nature Walks, Blues Concerts and Bike Rodeos

This weekend, take a nature walk at the Greenburgh Nature Center, get your groove on to a live blues band and tighten your bike chains before participating in the Scarsdale Teen Center's Bike Rodeo!

Why Go: Get down to the groove while listening to the Dr. Johnson Band, a five piece R&B, Motown and classic rock cover band.

Where/When: , 99 Dromore Rd., Scarsdale, Saturday, May 28, 1 p.m.

Why Go: Travis Brady, the Curator of Living Collections at Greenburgh Nature Center, will lead an adventure walk through the Center’s surrounding forests.

Pricing: Members, $2; Non-members, $6.

3. Scarsdale Teen Center Memorial Day Music Fest

Where/When: Chase Park, Scarsdale, Saturday, May 28, 1-8 p.m.

Why Go: A “Bike Rodeo” will help teens check their bikes and helmets and run through a riding skills course to learn the rules of the road. The afternoon also includes live music, food and performances.

Where/When: The Blue Door Gallery, 13 Riverdale Ave., Yonkers, Saturday, May 28, 12-5 p.m.

Why Go: The Third Annual Show and Tell exhibition will feature free weekly artists' demonstrations and exhibitions from May 28-June 25. The opening reception will begin at noon until 1 p.m., and demonstrations begin at 1:30 p.m. Additionally, three exhibitors will give demonstrations and talks on each Saturday from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Where/When: The Bayou Restaurant, 580 Gramatan Ave., Mount Vernon, Saturday, May 28, 11 p.m.

Why Go: New York blues-rock guitarist Popa Chubby will be strumming and singing the evening away at the Bayou Restaurant.
