Where: Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, 99 Castleton St, Pleasantville

When: Saturday, May 14, 12-6 p.m.

Why Go: Savor delicious, locally-brewed craft beer under the spring sun. 

Pricing: $30, free for kids and designated drivers

Where: Greenville Community Church, 270 Ardsley Rd, Scarsdale

When: Saturday, May 14, 4:30-6 p.m.

Why Go: Singers performing everything from Puccini to prayer songs will hit the stage to entertain Scarsdale and raise money for a good cause. 

Pricing: Freewill offerings will be collected to donate to the people of Japan.

Where: Playland, Playland Parkway, Rye

When: Saturday, May 14

Why Go: You know it's almost summer when Playland, everyone's favorite local amusement park, opens its gates to the public! Celebrate the return of warm weather by riding some roller coasters and racking up points on arcade games.

4. The 55th Annual E Day

Where: 200 White Oak Lane (Edgemont High School fields)

When: Saturday, May 14, 10 a.m.

Why Go: Raffles, track and field games and a barbecue lunch will raise money for the Edgemont School District sports program. 

Pricing: $10, including a barbecue lunch

Where: 76 Mount Tom Rd, Pelham

When: Saturday, May 14, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Don your best suit or flapper frock, sip a Southside and swing a croquet mallet at the Pelham Art Center's "Great Gatsby"-themed benefit. 

Pricing: $175 and up.
