The Scarsdale-based candy and chocolate shop Imagine Candy is teaming up with local artist Miriam Schulman to merge candy and art.
Schulman, whose paintings have been exhibited throughout the country, is creating signed, watercolor candy and chocolate gift boxes that will be sold in the store. The boxes will be collectors' items and will hold customized gifts of the store's artisan chocolates and candy.
Additionally, the store is also calling on customers of all ages to contribute 8x10 paintings of candy, chocolate or the shop. The top 25 paintings - selected by a panel of judges - will hang in the store and be featured on social media. The 25 winners will also receive $15 gift certificates to the store.
