More Construction Coming To Scarsdale

NY State DOT is doing repaving work August 21-29.

Scarsdale motorists will need to plan ahead for more road work.

Starting August 21, repaving will be taking place on Route 125, from Stratton Road to Hazelton Drive, according to an announcement from the Village of Scarsdale.

The New York State Department of Transportation is spearheading the repaving project near the White Plains border.

"Due to traffic congestion, the Department of Transportation will not be repaving the 5 Corners intersection," the announcement states. 

Work is set to start on August 21, 2012 and will continue through August 29, from 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Drivers should expect traffic delays during the repaving.
