National Scrabble Champion Conducts Workshop At JCC Of Mid-Westchester
Joe Edley held a Scrabble workshop at the JCC in Scarsdale on Wednesday.
Three-time National Scrabble Champion Joe Edley taught strategies to a group of 25 Scrabble enthusiasts at the JCC of Mid-Westchester, on Wednesday, January 9. In a two hour workshop, participants learned how to use 2-letter words effectively, how to play more 7 and 8-letter words, which individual letters and combinations to hang on to, and how to focus-in quickly on the best word plays. Participants left with a great deal of new knowledge, eager to try out their new word skills.
