Only Thing This Cat Needs to Gain Is A New Home

Rub-a-Tub is on a strict diet that is helping her shed the pounds.

From the New Rochelle Humane Society:

A visit to the  turned out to be a rescue mission in disguise.

An abandoned cat left in the parking lot in a carrier needed help. Inside the carrier was an extremely overweight orange tabby.

Rub-a-Tub is so overweight she can barely walk, but she is currently on a strict diet to allow her to shed her excess weight.

This cat is absolutely adorable and is spayed and vaccinated. She has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been microchipped.

Rub-a-Tub is ready to go—complete with her diet food!

IF THE CAT IS MICROCHIPPED, WHY CAN'T SOMEONE FIND OUT WHO IT BELONGS TO AND WHAT HORRIBLE PERSON WOULD ABANDON IT.? SHAME ON THEM.

The New Rochelle Humane Society is NOT a kill shelter

The cat was not microchipped upon arrival. The shelter vaccinated, tested and micro-chipped the cat to ready it for adoption.

God bless the New Rochelle Humane Society. You do such amazing, level-headed, just and proper good for your "guests". Everyone who comes to learn about your organization should feel good and want to help as much as they can possibly can. Your staff/volunteers do a beautiful job!
