Teens from B’nai Brith Youth Organization set up games.

More than 200 children and adults participated in Purim games and entertainment Sunday at JCC of Mid-Westchester.

The festivities were run by 20 teens from B’nai Brith Youth Organization, the official youth group of the JCC, who volunteered their time to make this event possible.  The teens set up mask decorating, ring toss, tic tac toe, face painting, temporary tattoos, bucket toss and bowling.

After the activities, families enjoyed traditional hamantashen and juice and took a seat to enjoy the entertainment of Rabbi Tzvi Sytner with help from Rabbi Avi Hoffman from The Jewish Renaissance Experience. Parents joined in the fun by acting out the story of Purim in full costume .

The Scarsdale event was free and open to the community.
