People in Scarsdale are getting ready for some potentially hazardous weather in the village. Beginning at noon, we will be under a flash flood watch. The watch continues through the night and into Friday afternoon.
Forecasters say that there is a chance that the thunderstorms could be strong to severe. the thunderstorms could start sometime after 2 p.m. There could be gusty winds and heavy rain. We could get as much as a three quarters and one inch of rain through the overnight hours.
On Friday, Scarsdale could be in for more thunderstorms. Forecasters say those storms could produce heavy rains.
