Money Magazine is naming Scarsdale as its number one top-earning town in the country. The Village tops the list with a median family income of $291,542 annually. People in Scarsdale have a median home price of $1,205,000, according to the report.
"Scarsdale boasts an appealing downtown peppered with Tudor-style buildings and pretty shopping areas, plus some of the best schools in the area — the high school is among the nation's top 500," according to the Money Magazine's report.
Coming in behind Scarsdale was Weston, Connecticut, Hillsborough, California, Potomac, Maryland and New Canaan, Connecticut. The only other town in Westchester to be ranked was Rye, which came in at number ten.
