Scarsdale Native to Hold Exhibit at Prestigious Art Museum

Acclaimed artist and Scarsdale native Nicole Eisenman will have a special art exhibit up at the prestigious Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis. The solo show is being funded by a $75,000 grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation.

“We are tremendously grateful for the financial support as well as the legitimacy that this award brings, linking CAM to an important network of visual arts organizations," said Contemporary Art Museum Director Lisa Melandri.

Eisenman, who grew up in Scarsdale's Greenacres area, will have her show run from January 24 through April 13, 2014. Drawings, paintings, prints and sculptures will be displayed at the exhibit. The Scarsdale native, who is the daughter of Village Trustee Kay Eisenman, has had a number of solo museum presentations over the last ten years.
