Scarsdale Public Library Now Has Internet

The Scarsdale warming station is open until 9:00 p.m. tonight and now has internet service.

For those without internet in Scarsdale, the public library has good news today.

The internet service is restored and the Scarsdale Public Library is back online.

Those in need of using the internet can access the internet via library computers, although the wireless connection is still down, according to an announcement from Library Director Elizabeth Bermel.

"Our staff computers are back online, so we can start processing the huge backlog of checkout and returned items," Bermet stated. "Please be patient. It may take several days to sort out the details. We are forgiving all fines during this storm-related period."

In addition to having internet and electricity, the library is open as a warming station, providing heat, free coffee and device charging for the community.
