School Vacation Movies, Book Club At The Scarsdale Library

Keep the kids busy this week and next with activities at the library.

For the students staying around Scarsdale on their school vacations, is offering activities to keep busy.

With on break this week, and the on break next week, the library has special events scheduled for the kids.

Today, Wednesday, April 4, the library is showing Curious George-Show Me the Monkey at 2:00 p.m. This fun film features Will Ferrell, who plays The Man in the Yellow Hat. Curious George fans will love this movie, featuring the inquisitive little monkey. Perfect for kids and adults of all ages.

Next week, the tweens will be big fans of the book club meeting. Have a young fan of Bring kids, in grades seven and eight, by the library on Tuesday, April 10 at 7:00 p.m. for a discussion of the series and the movie, and to enjoy some snacks. (Kids must watch the movie prior to attending the event.) Parents can register their youngsters by going to www.scarsdalelibrary.org and searching under "For Kids."

And on Saturday, April 14, there will be movie fun for the whole family. The library is holding an starting at 10:00 a.m. Bring the kiddos to watch The Muppets Movie at 10:00 a.m., Dolphin Tale at 12:00 p.m. or Star Wars: A New Hope at 2:00 p.m.
