Davis Park Sees Fresh Playground Equipment

Scarsdale park receives upgrade; ribbon cutting slated for Friday.

A playground overhaul at Davis Park in Scarsdale has equipped the space with all new playthings for youngsters.

"This amazing playground is really a true example of collaboration between volunteers of the community and the Village of Scarsdale," said Felicia Block, a member of the Arthur Manor Neighborhood Association (AMNA). "A small group of volunteers from the AMNA collected comments and feedback from the community about what they wanted to see in the park redesign. They visited parks all around Westchester to get ideas."

"The result includes old favorites, such as swings and bridges, along with new monkey bars and a mini train," Block added.
