For the senior citizens in Scarsdale seeking a warm, temporary home–there is help available.
The Hebrew Home at Riverdale announced today that seniors affected by Hurricane Sandy can go to the assisted living facility for temporary, overnight shelter.
Seniors will be able to have private rooms with full baths at no cost, according to a press release from the Scarsdale Police Deparment.
Hot meals will also be served to those in need and the home is providing limited transportation.
Scarsdale seniors should contact the Hebrew Home at Riverdale for more information. Call Deborah Messina at the Hebrew Home at Riverdale at 1-800‐567‐3646.
