SPCA Pets Still Need A Home

Here's a look at some of the dogs still available at the SPCA.

Of the almost 50 adoptable dogs at the SPCA of Westchester featured on Patch in 2012, just five are still looking for their forever homes.

Lisa Bonanno-Spence, SPCA of Westchester's development manager, told Patch these pups are still available:

  • Dixie
  • Godiva
  • Jett
  • Nicky
  • Weezer

Click the dogs' names above for more information about them! Maybe you can find a loving home for these furry friends.

In 2013, stay tuned for information about adoptable cats at the SPCA, too.

If you would like to learn more about one of these dogs—or any pets available at the SPCA—call 914-941-2896 or stop in (no appointment necessary.)

If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are allRead More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
