Viewfinder: Scarsdale Concours d'Elegance

A bevy of sleek, shiny race cars rolled their way into Chase Park yesterday to be featured in the Scarsdale Concours d'Elegance.

The Scarsdale Concours d'Elegance held its 8th annual car show yesterday, featuring antique classics ranging from old Corvettes to Jaguars and a bevy of sleek, unreleased racers.

Started by two Scarsdale High School sophomores, Evan Cygler and Dennis O'Leary, in 2003, the Concours d'Elegance raises money for local charities including the Windward School, White Plains Hospital Center and Scarsdale-Edgemont Family Counseling.

This year, award-winning cars included "Best in Show" – 1950 Abarth 205, "Best Supercar" – 1970 Lamborghini Miura and "Most Unique"– 1962 Gaz Volga.
