The Dobbs 16 is a coed a cappella choir from The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY.  Members hail from all over the world, and they come together once a week to share their love of music.  This select choir offers each member an opportunity to nurture ensemble skills as well as build solid musicianship.  Beyond the classroom, The Dobbs 16 shares their passion for music on campus, throughout their local community, and in the spring of 2008, on the other side of the world, as they toured major cities in China.  Other performances of note include the Human Rights First Dinner at Chelsea Piers in NYC (fall 2008), the NAIS Conference at Radio City Music Hall (2008) and the Tyra Show with the cast of GLEE (November 2009).  The Dobbs 16’s latest cd, “Lost in Shanghai” was recorded in the spring of 2009.
