The Scarsdale High School Drama Club will perform the rousing musical “Thoroughly Modern Millie” this weekend beginning Friday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m.
A “zany, high-spirited musical romp,” the musical won a Tony Award and has been a popular staple on Broadway. The show is based on the 1967 Julie Andrews-Mary Tyler Moore movie about Jazz Age New York City in the 1920s.
The show’s music is by Jeanine Tesori, lyrics by Dick Scanlan, and book by Richard Morris and Scanlan. The Scarsdale production is directed by Sarah Robbins.

All the performances will be in the high school auditorium, located at 2 Brewster Road in Scarsdale.
