“Being an integral part of the leadership team of the Westchester Philharmonic for more than a decade is a great honor,” said Kaufman in a statement. “I look forward to working with my dedicated fellow board members, our hard-working staff, and all of our friends and patrons in the community in support of this incredible orchestra, which is such an indispensible aspect of our cultural life.”

Kaufman is president and owner of Scarsdale-based K L Travel, Inc., and she previously served as president of the Scarsdale Summer Music Theatre, an educational, non-profit performing arts program for young adults.
