Kindergarteners Will Head Home in Mini-Buses Most of September

Kindergarteners attending Scarsdale schools start off the year attending for half-days. They start full day school Oct. 1. 

So during September they'll be bused back home using mini-buses, district transportation officials said in an August memo on the school website.  They'll be dropped off at home.

There are two exceptions: if the entire elementary school is dismissed at midday, or if kindergarten is in session all day. Then, everyone rides the regular buses back to their designated bus stop.
