SUNDAY SANDWICH SEMINAR AT QUAKER MEETINGHOUSE
TO FOCUS ON IMMIGRATION TO FOCUS ON IMMIGRATION

If you’re looking for an interesting sandwich lunch this Sunday come to Friends Meetinghouse at 133 Popham Road, just west of Rte. 22, and join Scarsdale Friends at 12:15 p.m. to hear Amy Gottleib discuss “Quakers and Immigrant Rights.”  The event is free and there is ample parking available.

Gottleib is adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School and Program Director of the Immigrant Rights Program of the American Friends Service Committee.  A noted expert on this subject, she is often interviewed on the media and writes a column highlighting local immigrants.  Immigration is a hot topic, especially in this election year, and the issues concerning immigration reform affect everyone.

All are welcome to worship with Friends beginning at 11:00 a.m., prior to the luncheon.
