Those with a sweet tooth can get their fill of chocolates and candies in Scarsdale Village. At Imagine Candy on Harwood Court, those with a preference for organic chocolates, Belgian chocolates, gluten-free treats, nut-free sweets or traditional candy bars can satisfy a craving.
Co-Owners Bill Vogel and Donna Halperin, who have been operating the shop since October 2011, sell an array of sweets created by candy makers from as far away as Italy to as close by as Mamaroneck. The shop boasts treats made in New York, Massachusetts, Canada, Missouri, Montana, Colorado and Pennsylvania.
An assortment of specialty chocolate bars range in price from $5 to $11.
Whether a shopper is seeking some bacon-bit lollipops or Vermont maple syrup infused treats, a giant gummy bear or a chocolate, use-able Menorah for the holidays–the shop is stocked with items galore and the products are constantly being updated, Vogel said.
Imagine Candy also sells nut-free, dairy-free, soy-free, gluten-free and corn syrup-free candies.
Vogel, who left the wine business to open the shop, said the bestsellers in the store are the Belgian, chocolate-covered pretzels.
