Scarsdale Art Festival, Radio Show Saturday

This weekend, the Scarsdale Art Festival kicks off on Saturday, along with a live radio broadcast from WFAS.

Art lovers and radio fans will be heading to this weekend for the annual, outdoor

The weekend-long event kicks off at 10:00 a.m. and runs through 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free. The rain date is September 29-30.

“We’ve planned a lively two days," SAA President Gina Thorne said. "In addition to long-time member artists, many accomplished new artists will display works in a variety of techniques and media."

Art work will be for sale and artists will also be present to speak to fans and buyers.

On Saturday, the fest includes yoga at 11:00 a.m. and Zumba at 2:00 p.m. Yoga will be offered again at 10:00 a.m on Sunday.

The festival features face painting and coloring for the kids, raffles and prizes.

Also on Saturday, Jay Michaels and the "Prize Patrol" will be broadcasting their radio show live from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at office at 28 Chase Road.

Folks will have the chance to win prizes and listen to the broadcast. At 2:00 p.m., Scarsdale Brokerage Manager Jason Wilson will be hosting "How's the Market?" live.
