Scarsdale's very own Imagine Candy will be holding a special tasting event on Friday and Saturday. The store, which is only a little over a year old, has already become a fixture of the Scarsdale community.
"On a daily basis, we have customers who come in and are so pleased with the fact that Scarsdale has its own chocolate and candy shop," said Imagine Candy Owner Donna Halperin. "As a young business, only about 19 months old, it's important to get that reinforcement from the community that we are doing things that the community embraces."

Just a few weeks ago, Imagine Candy held a pediatric cancer fundraiser. During the fundraiser, 10% of the store's sales went to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
The store's owners say they are always on the lookout for chocolates and candies that you can't find anywhere else.
"We work very hard to curate and find high quality products. Even our gummies are a higher quality, made with fruit juice," said Halperin. "We're constantly on the search for things that are delicious and special."
The hours for the tasting are 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
