Scarsdale's Imagine Candy Awards Artists

The Imagine Candy shop awarded local Candy Artists awards and are displaying the artwork in the shop.

Imagine loving candy, chocolate and art. The Imagine Candy team loves both. This Scarsdale candy and chocolate shop created a special program to encourage the artistic imagination and ones love of candy and art.

Four times a year, Imagine Candy invites folks to submit an 8 x 10 painting of any type of candy, chocolate or of the Imagine Candy store.

Our Candy Arts committee selects the 25 best pieces. These artists are awarded an Imagine Candy Gift Certificate and their artwork will be featured in-store and on the Imagine Candy website in the Candy Arts Gallery.

Judging has been completed for the current round. Imagine Candy thanks all participants for their wonderful work. Artist from each age group, ranging from 6 to 50-years-old, submitted very creative paintings.

Let’s applaud the creativity of our Candy Arts winners:

If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are allRead More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
