The Westchester Joins Forces with The Luxury Marketing Council of Connecticut–Hudson Valley

The Westchester, Simon’s premier shopping destination in White Plains featuring the finest collection of stores north of Fifth Avenue, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a new strategic alliance with The Luxury Marketing Council of Connecticut - Hudson Valley, a networking organization for CEOs, senior sales and marketing professionals. 

As part of this collaboration, The Westchester and The Luxury Marketing Council of Connecticut-Hudson Valley will work together to develop distinctive events and experiences for the local luxury market community and consumers.

Among the first activities as part of this strategic alliance, The Westchester’s Salvatore Ferragamo store will be hosting, “The Law of Luxury: Protecting Your Brand While Driving Sales”, presented by Kyle-Beth Hilfer, Of Counsel to Colleen IP, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.  Among other issues, Ms. Hilfer will be commenting on strategies for protecting brands across different communications platforms and customer data.

The Connecticut-Hudson Valley Chapter was founded in Spring 2013 by Kathryn Minckler, Principal of KM and Company, a marketing vision lab, and Geoffrey Morris, CEO of Morris Media which owns six luxury lifestyle magazines.  Inspiring member brands to work creatively together, The Chapter serves one of the most influential luxury markets in the United States and conducts a series of exclusive dynamic programs and events where marketing alliances, collaborations and jointly sponsored marketing programs are incubated and facilitated. Members network with peers in a setting that encourages learning, collaboration and the sharing of information and experiences.  In addition, the Chapter is developing a number of online offerings to compliment and extend its mission on an ongoing basis.
