A Snowy Bronx River Parkway In Autumn

Another early season snowstorm turned what should be a colorful Autumn morning commute into a wintry drive down the Bronx River Parkway this morning.

Mother nature's one-two punch of Hurricane Sandy and now Wednesday's Nor'easter has left many digging out and dealing with power outages.

Driving south along the Bronx River Parkway from Hartsdale to Tuckahoe this morning, drivers were greeted to a perfectly white landscape.

At times however, the scene looked treacherous as tree limbs hung low, being weighed down by the weight of the estimated four to five inches of snow that the area received last night.
