Are door-to-Door Solicitors in Scarsdale Bothering You?

Two recent reports of door-to-door solicitors bothering people in the Village has people here talking. This week, a woman who lives on Brewster Road called police after someone from Michael's Pizza and Pasta allegedly left a menu on her door handle. Investigators say they issued a summons to the pizza place. Apparently someone from Michael's Pizza and Pasta was soliciting in the Village without a permit.

In another incident, someone who lives in Quaker Ridge said that a NYPIRG worker was soliciting at their home. That worker allegedly kept ringing the doorbell, even though the homeowner already told them that they didn't want to talk to them.
