Scarsdale To See Up To Two Inches Of Snow

Today's Nor'easter is already hitting Westchester and will be bringing brutal cold, wind, snow and rain.

As 1,844 residents in the Village of Scarsdale are still waiting for power to be restored after Hurricane Sandy, today's winter weather could not be worse timing. Many folks remain without heat, hot water and electricity–10 days after the hurricane swept through Scarsdale.

The Nor'Easter hitting the region today is expected to bring about two inches of snow to Scarsdale today, according to the National Weather Service.

The rain and snow mix will become mostly snow after 3:00 p.m. today, bringing a high of only 36 degrees and a low temp of 33, the NWS states.

Winds could gust up to 46 mph today and tonight, those gusts could reach 55 mph, the NWS states.

On Thursday, expect little to no snow with mostly rain in the area. The high will be about 42 degrees and the low will be about 34 degrees, according to the NWS.
