How to Be Green: Sustainable Scarsdale

The 2nd Annual Sustainable Scarsdale Day was held last Saturday at Scarsdale High School.

Sustainable Scarsdale day is the annual culmination of all things green for students, teachers, & homeowners alike here in Scarsdale. This year featured a tremendous showing of support for the emegent trend of conscious living and planning - when it comes to saving our natural resources.

Speakers and experts on fields such as Geothermal heating and cooling, solar power, recycling, as well as students & teachers were kept busy by over 40 information booths & activities spread throughout the day.

Though, the most important part of the day was realizing that going green is a major part of the culture here in Scarsdale and still growing, especially for the  students who are growing up commited to a greener future.
