Zombies, ghouls, ghosts and creeps eagerly await you when the “Scared by the Sound” Haunted House returns with two additional, all new attractions for the Halloween season, beginning Friday, Oct. 5 at Playland Park in Rye.

Visitors are invited into the 10,000-square-foot haunt, which features a spooky wine cellar, library, sanitarium and more. The attraction’s “tunnel of doom” is a spook-fest from beginning to end, and the waterfront cemetery and mausoleum are spine-tingling treats.

But more intense startles and scares await...those who journey through the new “Demented Pumpkin Patch” and “Terror Trail” will find themselves amid “unstable” inhabitants as they walk through a path of intricately carved and lit pumpkins, wander through cornfields and stumble upon a slaughter house in their trespass. Enter if you dare!
