29th Lasdon Labor Day Antiques Fair

Always great fun for all
ages, for the 29th year, this popular antiques fair returns to beautiful Lasdon
Park on Monday, Labor Day from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Up to 60 dealers can be
expected to bring lots of furniture; sports collectibles; framed vintage tobacco
cards; Ephemera; European advertising posters; folk art and Americana;
paintings; American art pottery including Roseville; fine antique to fun
vintage costume jewelry; 50's kitchenware; American Elegant to Depression era
glassware; Lalique; enamelware; early toys; Transferware; prints; antique maps;
Majolica; silver; bronzes; primitives; country store; toleware; books; quilts;
stoneware; treenware; Flow Blue; Shaker boxes; antique tools for the farm,
store and home; textiles; carpets and pillows made from Persian rugs; vintage
clothing and accessories; Lighting; Bakelite; Native American and Mexican
jewelry and so much more.



 



From 11:00 - 3:00 the team
from Jenacks Appraisers and Auctioneers of Chester, NY, will be located under a
tent (rain or shine) doing $5 verbal appraisals. Andrea Jenack, a Graduate
Gemologist, is adept at both jewelry and silver while William Jenack and Kevin
Decker are able to appraise almost everything else. Gary Dillon will be singing
his popular repertoire and the Friends of Lasdon will be conducting a plant
sale. As always there will be Kettle Corn and food by Bistro Box. Dogs are not
permitted. Admission benefits Friends of Parks and is $7 (12 and under free).
