Andy Shih, Senior VP, Scientific Affairs for Autism Speaks will lead a general discussion on the efforts within the organization to develop and implement the organizations research sciences and epidemiology, as well as the Innovative Technology for Autism program, which supports the research and development of novel assistive technologies. Andy also leads Autism Speaks' international scientific development efforts, including the Global Autism Public Health Initiative, an international advocacy effort currently active in over 45 countries around the world that integrates awareness, research, and service development.
