Coyotes in Westchester- Balancing Urban Ecology or Conflict in the Concrete Jungle

Westchester County has a diverse array of wildlife. It does include animals that may be controversial. A balanced ecosystem is what is needed and for that, carnivores are a part of the equation. 
The coyote has been the subject of much misinformation and sadly much anxiety. While concern may be justified, there is no reason people, pets and coyotes can't share the landscape with minimal conflict. 
Frank Vincenti of the Wild Dog Foundation attempts to educate residents on coyotes in general, their value to the Westchester ecosystem , and how to prevent conflicts.
