Join with the Westchester Reform Temple community as we welcome Eli Beer, founder of United Hatzalah of Israel,
an Orthodox Jew and volunteer EMT, and Murad Alian, a nurse and Muslim volunteer for United Hatzalah of Israel who oversees the organization's Arab volunteer activities, as they share their story of peaceful co-existence while saving lives.  A light breakfast will be served.

United Hatzalah of Israel is an independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Services organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel to all people regardless of race, religion or national origin. If this is happening in a community like Scarsdale, then as a taxpayer I am irritated. Where are allRead More the taxes going if teachers are paying for their own classroom supplies? There has to be some degree of accountability regarding our tax dollars. We are the highest-taxed county in the nation and we can't afford notebooks and post-it notes? As a community member, I am not going to "lend a hand." I already do that with my tax dollars.
