An opening lecture on Vietnamese ceramics, presented by the Connecticut Ceramics Study Circle, aims at opening eyes and ears to the little known riches of this Southeast Asian nation.
Noted expert Donald A. Wood, senior curator of Asian Art at the Birmingham Museum of Art, Birmingham, Alabama will explore the lively symbolism of decorative motifs found on Vietnamese ceramics, highlighted by photographs from his museum's holdings.
